Dr. Gailor is a 1992 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He also has a Master’s Degree from Western Kentucky. He, his two daughters, Julia and Cloe, and his wife Teresa, live on a small farm near the Jefferson Memorial Forest.
Dr. Gailor has served on the executive Board of the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association and currently has been appointed as Commissioner for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Dr. Gailor enjoys sports, time at the lake, and hunting with his labs Sosa and Bubba
Dr. Lackey is a 2002 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has one son Brody, and her husband Gaddy, with their two dogs, Lenny (her sons very sweet but oh so rambunctious Frenchie), and Lucy the most lovable Cane Corso (she was a rescue that came to the Hospital with parvo), live in Bardstown, Kentucky.
In 2017 Dr. Lackey became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist from the CHI Institute in Florida. She is passionate about bringing alternative care to her patients here at Gailor Animal Hospital.
When Dr. Lackey isn’t taking care of her four-legged patients she likes to pack up her family in their RV and head out to the baseball field to watch their son play ball.
Dr. Renck completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville and obtained her veterinary degree in 2012 from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
She grew up in the south end of Louisville and worked at Gailor Animal Hospital prior to attending vet school. Dr. Renck is happy to be back where her journey began. She enjoys general practice and especially has an interest and advanced training in ultrasound.
In her free time, Dr. Renck enjoys spending time with loved ones including her husband Justin and dog Millie, traveling, and yoga.
Dr. Kylye Roberts is 2018 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a Louisville native and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Roberts has two dogs: a pit bull named Ella, and a lab named, Sirus Black, as well as a cat named Alastor Moody( who happens to be the failed clinic cat). As you can tell by her pets’ names, Dr. Roberts is an avid Harry Potter fan who enjoys reading and hiking in her spare time.
Dr. Roberts is thrilled to add exotic patients to Gailor Animal Hospital. While she loves her current cat and dog patients, she has a special place in her heart for wildlife and has spent time working with sea turtles in Florida.
Dr. Nicole Varon was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Louisville in 2014 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in May of 2018. She has been practicing in the Louisville area since graduation. She has wanted to become a veterinarian since she could speak and is very excited to be fulfilling her lifelong dream! Her professional interests include internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and exotic animal medicine. She is also a certified Fear-Free Veterinary Professional.
In her spare time, Dr. Varon enjoys running, cooking with her husband Tim, and watching Netflix. Dr. Varon is a pet mom to Sophie, a Yorkie/Maltese mix, who knows about 12 tricks; Bentley, a Dachshund/Corgi mix, who is very lazy; Teddy, the attention-loving bunny; and Joey, her adorable cat that loves to play fetch!
Born and raised in Louisville, KY. She has been in the veterinary field for the past 15 years with 9 of those with our hospital.
Outside of work, she LOVES spending time with her husband and son, grilling out and cooking for friends and family. She has a sphynx named, “Smudge” and another cat named, “Snickers”!
Kelly was born and raised in Louisville, KY, She is in charge of ordering and is Dr. Herre’s technician. She has been in the veterinary field for the past 20 years and 10 of those years have been with Gailor Animal Hospital.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter going to the lake and watching her daughter’s soccer games. She owns 2 adorably cute Boston Terriers named, “Pixie” and “Buddy” and 4 cats named, “Down”, “Rocky”, “Boo Boo’, and “Bidster”. She is an avid animal lover from reptiles to rabbits and everything else in between, she has owned them all.
Born and raised in Louisville, KY. Stephanie graduated from Brown Mackie in the summer of 2014, with an associate degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been a part of our team for the past 2 years.
In her spare time, she loves spending it outside, site seeing, and hiking with her husband, and son. She also has 3 fur-babies named, “Starla”, “Puddles”, and “Ellie”, that keep her very busy!
Angie was born and raised in Louisville, Ky. She is the smiling face you see greeting you when you walk in. Angie has worked in the veterinary field for the past 10 years and been a part of the Gailor team for the past four.
In her free time, she loves riding her horse, “Hot Shot”, and spending time with her husband, two kids, grandson and 3 fur-babies.
Caitlynn was born and raised in Louisville, KY. She is currently studying psychology at Indiana University Southeast.
She has two dogs, two cats and a hamster, in her spare time she enjoys traveling, painting and shopping.
Kaila was born and raised in Louisville, Ky. She has been a part of our team for the past 2 years and loves taking care of all the fur-babies that come into the office. She currently is a student at Indiana University Southeast majoring in Chemistry, she is planning to attend Auburn University once she graduates in hopes of becoming a veterinarian.
Outside of work, she has a dog named, “Buddy”, and loves spending time with friends and family.
